Come Along for the Journey!

Welcome to my blog!! 

Deep down I've known that being a writer is the way to go.  Think about it:  I can type as fast as I can think, I've got some great stories, and gosh-darn-it....people like me! :)

There are all kinds of people out there are writing about all kinds of things.  Honestly I'm not sure what I'm going to write about yet.....but my goal will be to keep you entertained.  In a world of FB and Twitter, Droids and Iphones, we all know that technology is keeping us connected in ways that we have never been able to be connected before.  I think its all super cool don't get me wrong but it also scares the crap out of me on another level. 

For those of you that know me, you know that I'm the kind of person who tends to get into what most people would call "unexpected" situations. I'm fascinated by people and what motivates them.  I'm just as complex a person as anyone else out there and so when it comes to this blogging stuff, the question is what side of me do I show to this virtual world??  the hilarious side, the compassionate side, the playful side, the serious side??

Please come along with me on this journey.  The first set of stories will be about getting ready for and going on an adventure to Haiti for Earthquake Relief.  If that goes well then I might keep this up!  but if not then hey, at least I gave this a shot. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

PS speaking of Casablanca...did you know that given the extraordinary chemistry between the two leads, its curious that Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman never appeared in another movie together, this being their one and only joint venture.
