We have not had any connection to the internet from the team house for the past few days. That means that the time I'd normally take to post something I just don't have. I wanted to say I was sorry for that because I know there a few people following my trip down here.
I'm doing well but I'm super exhausted. The pace is just non-stop. I went to a food distribution today and at one point the crowd got a little out of control. I might get to go on one tomorrow too we will see. Anyway its all very interesting to be here and to see how this is going. I'm learning so much.
The folks here are all super sweet. People have been sick though and food is not constant. So please pray that those types of details get sorted out for those that are staying here more long term.
OK well we have to shut down now so we can walk to the team house. Yesterday, today and tomorrow are all declared official days of mourning by the Haitian Government. So there are no cars to take us anywhere. We can't walk around after dark so we better get going!
I will be posting more thoughts when I get a chance I promise. I'm not 100% sure this blog thing is the right way to do it but I'm learning. I want to have a place to separate my work life from my personal life. I'm wondering how I'm going to do that because this is a calling, not a job.
Thanks for your prayers. Please have a moment of silence for the people of Haiti at church tomorrow, it has been one month.
